I've been doing more with those Glitter Tattoos.
They do especially well ~ especially at Sweet 16's
I figure I'll really be busy with them once Pool Parties start.
They stay on even in the pool.
About a week. Sometimes longer.

My Agent recently asked if I could do something New. LIVE PARTY PAINTINGS !
What that is is that I just set up my Oil Paints at a Party, and spend
the contracted time painting One Large Canvas that represents the Party.
I'd enjoy that very much. My Agent needed Samples of my alla-prima style of Oil Painting. I sent here these ~ paintings that I'd made back when I was Teaching Oil Painting.
I made the following three paintings as demonstrations on the first day of some semesters:
I made the following painting at a Street Fair. It got people to stop at my exhibit because they liked the entertainment part of watching ~ apparently that's why my Agent wants to offered it to her Client. This one was the view outside of the park.
The following painting is just a mishmosh of all sorts of things that I was showing my students. Back when I was teaching, I would keep a 6' canvas on the wall ~ so I could quickly show whatever it was that I was trying to explain to different students. (I never painted on their paintings). This is the only one I still had around.
I'm looking forward to the Upcoming Event ~ Party Painting! It's really fun. And I can do a good job of it. But I explained to my Agent that it's not worth my while to take any jobs if I'd have to pay for people's clothing, walls, and furnishings. Not that I ever left paint stains, but it is a possibility. So she must get a paper in writing in which the Client agrees to take responsibility for any messes
or health concerns.
Note: And as always,there is a kill-fee for events that are canceled for Any reason, including Weather.

I understand why a client would want to include an absentee-guest in her heart, but I don't feel like it's the best Party Entertainment. I feel like we have to give attention to the people we are with, even though others might be in our hearts.
But there I was ~ My client's request that I draw from this photo of a girl who could not attend the party. And I'm so glad it worked out well this time. I found litl snippets of alone-time when I could focus on the photo. And I was able to see the Caricature through the photo quickly:

Such a nice group of kids. 10-year-old girl's Birthday Party. It's a great age.
I just wish we adults had more time to focus on them. To enjoy their openness.
Actually, I even wish we gave the children enough time to Enjoy this time of their lives. I didn't have to see it at the Party, but I know that there are a lot of demands on children these days.
