This silly litl picture is very Simple. I drew it on my IPad, still dreaming of someday offering digital Caricatures at Parties. I have to make sure that I will feel comfortable with the Drawing part of such a job as well as with the Technology.
I feel like I'm on thin ice if i would draw so simply at a paid event, but the picture IS good. And I can see this style being useful for many applications ~ Printed Large and Framed as Modern Art in sleek homes and corporate buildings, Computer Avatars, Business-card pictures ~ the modern world.
I used to make elaborate pictures, but it's just a Hobby if I Focus my pictures on primitive applications. This simple style works in the World of Today.

This party was a lovely comfortable evening. The weather was perfect. The hostess lit a special fire for making sure we don't have any mosquitoes at her BBQ. A small family gathering for her husband's (Surprise) Birthday Party. I was set up near an outlet for my lights, but I didn't have to use them until the last few pictures.
When the Party was over, my beautiful gracious client insisted on bringing me something to eat/drink. I agreed to a tea, and sat by the fire as it just got dark. It was so pleasant there. Watching wiggly fire-lines shooting up from the flames with spark dots, drinking the tea, feeling appreciated, hearing the hum of the guests chatting across the yard....
