My ofice has gotten out of hand. I can't imagine going through all my files to get rid of all but the most important papers, but I have to at least Start.
It's so Hard! Every paper I pick up reminds me of one of the Thousands of Parties I've handled over the years. This one for instance. It's a post card I received from one of my precious clients who hired me several times. I remember her. I remember her amazingly Classical daughter. Timeless. Precious people. I'm so blessed to be able to have such pleasant memories because of my job as a Party Artist. I can't tell if this was her house Party where all the little girls were given huge flower barrettes, or if this was her Party where we were at a restaurant which played show tunes from old romantic movies, or if this was.....
~ ~ ~ hmmmm...... I guess this is another paper that I can't throw out. It gives me such good things to think about. It's so helpful to have these little prompts to remind me of the Good Times. It's the way I stay Happy.

I think I finished the Designing and Drawing the Character for my Friend's Album. Turned out that he sent me the Reference for the Alien because he wanted to be an Alien Crooner. But he really wanted it to look more like this little Caricature I had scribbled out while we were hanging out, just messing around, a while back.
He explained that he wanted me to include a microphone on a stand and clothes like the Crooners from the 1950's.

My current Studio project is creating a singing alien Crooner for a the Art on a cd album for a Friend. Not at all finished, but this is what I did so far.
I particularly like how I made the alien shiny Gold. I feel like this job is bringing me a step towards that dream I had of painting in Procreate as though it was Oil Paints. By encompassing just a 'Thing' instead of trying to make a full Painting, it finally got me using the Procreate Tools in a more Painterly fashion.
I'm feeling like this might be My way to go for my subsequent Procreate paintings. To just outline each 'Thing' and deal with it individually. I'm even feeling like I might want to just make everything Shiny. Just because I'm liking to do this right now.
It's a look. It can be my style ~ for a while ~ since that's what I'm interested in. Might be.

I have so many Big Parties booked ~ sometimes day after day. Barely time to sleep between Events, let alone post the pictures. But I was really On at this Event. The Art was just flowing.
