I cut down some old sweatshirts, and I bought fleece fabric. Sewed them together ~ without any sort of a pattern ~ and ended up with nightgowns that are as warm as Blankets.
btw ~ the fabric store was so full of so many kinds of fleece, that I felt driven to look up 'no pill fleece'. I quickly passed by some page that was saying that.... get this.... fleece (aka sweatshirt material) is made from..... Plastic!
