Wouldn't you know ~ as soon as I started focusing on those Playful Caricatures, I had to switch focus. To be ready to draw at today's Event. Where I'll be drawing with a Tame Caricaturist.
I finally developed Clarity about Two Different Approaches. Playful vs Tame. They are Both best to be Exaggerated! It's more about how to represent what I'm exaggerating. Aka Style.

I gotta quit playing around. I have to wake up in a few hours to get to the Party. I didn't have time (yet?) to infuse my edge, but I did at least do a Warm Up Caricature.
For a 50th Anniversary Celebration. So I feel like they will really have People of All ages when they say they have people of all ages. It's late now, and I was just checking that I can draw Caricatures.
This would please people. It would be part of their Good Times. For now this is good enough. I gotta get some sleep. Then I hope I will step into something wilder. To please myself too.

Simply PERFECT! Unlike her FAB sketches it’s NO exaggeration
There’s a story to my meeting Alison for the first time, and it only speaks to her gregarious, fun, dynamic nature. We got the venue late for setup, so to say I was peeved is an understatement. Cue Alison in all her fabulousness! She was right on time, dressed to impress, and ready to set up! In my daze, I mistook her for a quick second for the venue manager and started venting about the late start. Alison whipped out her notebook with the booking specs and said, “Oh, I am the ARTIST, my dear!” That instantly lightened the mood. After I profusely apologized, we hugged it out and off she went to begin sketching. From the first two adorable little sisters in matching burgundy to the fashion-forward engaged couple and everyone in between, a constant stream of guests lined up to be sketched. And boy, did Alison deliver! She was professional, friendly, creative, and always gracious. She definitely brought the talent to our Jazzy Renaissance party. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. You absolutely ROCK, Alison!
