I don't know how I end up doing things like this, but it sure was Fun. When my friend from hula-hoop class visited me, this is what I ended up doing to her. Lots of Freehand Glitter Tattoos. Woo-hoo!

Wow ~ I had felt real glamorous in these high heels. But after I added the Freehand Glitter Tattoo to fit around the ankle, I was amazed. I feel sooo beautiful.

This Tattoo had to be handled in 2 applications. To keep the colors separate.

I wish you could see these Freehand Glitter Tattoos in person. The photographs just don't show how very Wow they are.

I'm wondering if this photo can show you why each Glitter Tattoo has to be adapted to each individual in person. Not only are my Freehand Glitter Tattoos larger that the 'little stencil' that is done for children, but they also flow with the actual shape of the body. I do them on people that are 9-years old and up. Even Adults Wow with Surprise and keep looking into the mirror. In this case, I adapted the design to fit this hand. If you could see it in person, you would better be able to see how one wing curves around the wrist-bone, and the other wing fits right onto the top of the thumb.

People love my FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOOS. But when they're first making their Party Plans, it feels like they've never heard of it before. They get so excited and have so many questions for me. So I feel like this Post will help. I'll try to answer the most common questions here:

The difference between FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOOS and regular glitter tattoos: Regular glitter tattoos are done with little stencils. They are usually quite small (albeit glittery), and they are generic. The same picture can go on anyone, usually just for children. My FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOOS, on the other hand, are created fresh for each person. Even if I am choosing the same design for several different people, it will be different on each person. I make them to fit the area that's presented to me. Sometimes the design is affected by how much body is exposed beside the person's clothing. Sometimes the design is affected by the way the bones and muscles of the person drape around her body. And they are practically always bigger than the generic stencils.

My FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOOS are beautiful and glamorous. Usually done on Grown-Ups who like that something Special. Usually done on Grown-Ups who are surprised with just how Special they feel. The reason I prefer an Age Limit for Ages 6 and Up is because they are applied in two or more steps. First the design is painted with the glue. Then the glue has to dry before the Glitter can be applied. Usually the first part is dry by the time I finish painting the design. But sometimes, a guest might have to wait a minute or so before the Glitter can be applied. In the interest of decorating as many people as possible during an Event, I would start a design on another guest while one guest's glue is drying. If the child is under 6 years old, s/he might not understand that the glue cannot be touched for that minute that it might still be wet.

While I do Face-Painting on the Face as well as other areas of the body, I do not do FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOOS on the Face. I only do FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOOS on other areas of the body. Such as:
arms,
hands,
decollette under the neck,
shoulders,
lower backs,
ankles,
calves,
thighs.

Even though I do use Cosmetic Grade Glitter ~ the same type of glitter that is used in Makeup ~ I just feel uncomfortable about putting the Freehand Glitter Tattoos too near the eyes. The Freehand Glitter Tattoo is dry almost immediately after it is created. I recommend waiting a minute or so to be sure, but then it can be touched,
you can get it wet,
it can go in the pool,
it can go in the shower....
It usually lasts about a week or two. If you don't wash roughly enough to exfoliate the area. I don't even recommend using soap directly on the Glitter Tattoo, although it would probably still stay on even if you did.

FACE PAINTING on the other hand, comes off as soon as you wet the area. To wash off a FACE PAINTING, you would gently wipe it off with a Soft Wet Washcloth and then wash with Soap and Water as usual.

So how would you take off the FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOO early if you wanted to? Most people want them to stay on as long as possible, but if you do have some reason to take it off, that can easily be done at any time. With 91% Rubbing Alcohol which can be bought inexpensively at most super-markets or drug stores. You would use the Rubbing Alcohol with a fine washcloth.

It's all good. But FREEHAND GLITTER TATTOOS are usually preferred for Sweet 16's, Bat Mitzvot, Wedding Showers, and Engagement Parties. Although my FACE PAINTING is usually chosen for at Mardi-Gras Parties, Superbowl Parties, Halloween Events, Day of the Dead Celebrations, Purim Celebrations, and Children's Parties.
