Quick posting here today. I usually don't get up to posting my pictures ~ lol ~ how can I say that since I have Thousands of my pictures posted here???? But that is the case. I have tens of thousands that have not yet been posted. It's hard to find the time to do everything.

But today a possible Client asked me about drawing FASHION SKETCHES at a GOTH Themed Graduation Party. I said, oh, lo-and-behold, I think I just drew some Goth Fashions yesterday. So I want to show them to her.

FASHION SKETCHES are based on What the Guests Are Actually Wearing. So I kept things a little lighter yesterday since yesterday's Event was a Bridal Shower. I would be adding Much Heavier BLACK, perhaps some 'drawings representing 'drips'', that sort of stuff if I was drawing at a Goth Themed Party. But I drew the following pictures at a Bridal Shower where most people wore White, Pastels, and Flowers

I have 2 gigs tomorrow. The first one is for CARICATURES. My Client said it's a Communion/Baptism and Double Birthday for his Mother and his Mother-in-Law. Just yesterday, I drew Caricatures at a Wedding, so I feel warmed up for the first Event.

But the 2nd one is for FASHION SKETCHES. Quick presto-changeo. Engagement Party. My Client said it's Harlem Rennaisance Theme, and she hopes people will dress the theme (like I will ~ I already have my clothes together. Fun.). But client said she's expecting that most people will be wearing Bright Colorful Dresses, because they are Caribbean. She said that's what they always wear to the Parties.

I figured I should warm up for that. So I drew a few practice Fashion Sketches here tonight. Focusing on Caribbean Fashion. And I did coach myself to remember a few thangs at the party.

The first picture I drew ~ the one with the colorful jumpsuit/cape.... Took too long to draw/color. Not sure yet how I would handle such a pattern at the event, but it usually comes to me when I wake up in the morning. After going to sleep with the question on my mind. For meanwhile, I was much faster with the subsequent pictures that I drew here tonight.

And I decided that I hate drawing on the Shiny Silver Paper. It was slick, and it felt hard to get the Colors to cooperate. I only had 2 sheets of the shiny silver paper, and it's good that I 'wasted' one sheet by practicing on it. So I won't be dragged down by it during the event.

Fashion Sketches drawn at a Wedding

I was hired to draw Fashion Sketches at a Chanukah Party this weekend. I imagine there will be a lot of Children there. As well as Adults.

Looking forward to it. I always look forward to Fashion Sketch Events. I love to draw that. But what about the Boys at an Orthodox Chanukah Party? I was guessing that all the boys would be dressed the same? Tailored shirt and dark slacks? What to do?

I looked up Fashions for Orthodox Jewish Boys online, and I felt relieved. Everyone looks different. Of course.

I drew Fashion Sketches of two Boys. And then, just for fun, on to the Women's Fashions. Really started loosening up by the end of my own personal drawing time. Counting the time til I can go to the Party
