Fashion Show? I was hired to draw the people in the audience. So all I saw were people from the audience. Oh.
My back was turned to the stage so the person I was drawing could still see the show. Hey.
Well, I guess they sported 'the fashion of the day'. Looked different that what I would have been drawing if I was drawing an audience during Colonial Days. Or an audience during the Rennaissance.
It's all fashion. Even though I couldn't see The Show, something that I don't usually get a chance to do, I did have Fun my own way. That's something that other people don't get to do unless I'm at their Event. Even though I do it several times each week.

I want to point out that good Fashion Sketches are Exaggerations ~ just like real Caricatures are Exaggerations. What's good about Artwork is that it's something different than the actual Object. It's what we see as Filtered through the Artist's eyes/mind/heart. The viewer can relate to the Artist's vision.

We have a great time with it, but I wish
I had new Samples to hang up when
I set up at these Parties.
Running around. So many Parties.
I finally just grabbed any moments
that I had to draw new Samples.
This is what I came up with -
using the limited supplies that
I always have with me.
It's a good idea to keep paper and markers with you.
I keep the ones that aren't 'juicy' enough for my gigs anymore.
They're in my pocketbook, in my car, in every room of my house,
at my friend's house..... Everywhere.
