Even in my time off, I try to stay upbeat. I'm doing okay, and I'm not desparing over that which was taken from me. But it does feel (sad, disappointed, amazed, shocked) that I don't feel comfortable to go to NYC anymore. and also the plebian Central Park. But this is not now. This past year's riots..... What can I even say? Even if I'm ever willing to go to the City again, it's Different. Would it feel like a ghost town? Would I feel like I don't belong there? Anymore.
