Ever going about your day that you find yourself drawing something in your mind? I sit outside for 20 minutes per day (Vitamin D), and today I noticed myself doing just that. Again. I can't count how many times I imagined an Academic Drawing of this Railing.
Today, with nary 5 minutes left, I went inside to get some Art Supplies. I was left with 4 minutes to Aaaah Finally start getting it out of my system. I started drawing that Railing. Simple Shapes.
I hope I get back to finishing it. Some day. And/Or starting it Again as Negative Shapes. But for now egads I Must turn my attention to Yay DIGITAL CARICATURE Drawings.! I Just Now (Tuesday afternoon) booked a Digital Job for Thursday. Glad I just happened to pick up my IPad last night ~ but I still have to make sure that my Supplies and I am/are all ready for the day after tomorrow.
When I'm handling a lot of Digital Events in a row, it gets very easy. But when I haven't had a Digital Event in several Weeks, I need to Re-acquaint myself with my process so I won't feel Rusty at the Party.
Oh ~ the rust on the Railing looked good. It will probably look great on me too! (My Natural Hair Color when I was in my 30's could have been called Rust-Colored.) Oh ~ I'm feeling happy. And silly
