Oh this made me laugh. I was looking to take a break from the cold NY weather, so I decided to check out some pictures I had drawn back while it was still warm. And I ended up not only remembering how uncomfortable it can be on a hot summer day, but I also got a break from the serious mood I've been in.
This Party was outdoors on a very hot day. I always prefer to be in the thick of things ~ right where the Party is. But I didn't complain when my hostess suggested that I draw in the air-conditioned kitchen. That heat can be tuff.
Not being Part of the Party, though, I felt constantly on edge. Like I was supposed to personally Meet each person I drew. Felt awkward. Made my drawings stiff. And then, because my drawings weren't flowing easily, I felt nervous. Lol ~ Now I laugh to see what came out.
Art is an Art. An Artist is affected by her Zone. My best Zone is when I'm in the thick of things at a Party.
