I hired Alison for my husband's birthday party and it was a huge success! She arrived early to set everything up and then dived right into the drawings. Alison even joined in on the birthday party theme and wore an outfit that went along with it. Most of my friends had never been part of a caricature drawing before, but they enjoyed the whole experience! Everyone was entertained by being a spectator and by being the subject of the drawing. Each picture was so unique to the person being drawn. There was a lot of laughter that night! I highly recommend Alison for any party!

I remember this Event. It was a hoot!
I felt like a was flying through a dream.
I had had dental surgery the Wednesday before.
Then I got caught in a downpour of rain at a Late Night gig on Thursday.
Up Early ~ and out to this Employee Picnic on Friday ~ but the day was Wet, so they moved it indoors.
Recognizing people I had previously drawn as soon as I pulled into the parking lot,
told to Set Up in a room that was All Windows ~ aka back-lighting ~ which means that the Faces are all in shadow (meaning that I Think I'm able to see the FAces, but not quite really),
and we were On.
People telling me things like they cut out of work today because they wouldn't want to miss this year's CARICATURE from me,
and showing me photos of walls in their homes where they had several of my CARICATURES already hanging there......
Me trying to focus. Am I awake? Is this a dream? Was I drawing? I felt so happy to be there, but I couldn't Think.
Lol ~ Here are a few of the CARICATURES that I drew.
They were actually more controlled than usual because of my current studies,
and I wish they weren't. But that's what I did this time. And we all had a Great Experience:

Here are just a couple of the Digital Caricatures that I drew at a recent Event. It's just great how I can resize and erase and use different brushes and oh there's just so much flexibility in drawing on an IPad.

When I sat down to draw tonight, I planned on practicing Fast Speed Exaggerated Caricatures. So I googled Faces in the town where I will be drawing at an Event tomorrow. (that's today already). Because I was hired specifically to draw Color Caricatures (tomorrow).
But here, alone in my Studio, procrastinating at every point of the activity because it's midnight and I'm in my own space and I feel totally affected by the Title of the first picture that I noticed.....
I spent too long on it. But it felt so good to draw it
