I just had an interesting experience. A girl wanted Basic Picture. Drawn with Black Marker. With eyes, nose, mouth. Nothing too wild. Nothing too exciting.
A real Artist who has evolved to the point that I have
might have refused. Arrogant. I Know Better.
But What's That???
Most people love the exciting Fun ~ not know what's going to come out ~ not knowing what the Artist is going to draw. But there are plenty of people who feel more comfortable with Standard Basic Picture. Not having studied the Art of Caricature as much as I have, they might need to 'Be Normal' (whatever that is). Or or they might be unable to separate their reality from my exaggeration.
While I enjoy my ability to do highly evolved Artwork, I do recognize that there are other things that are much more important. Like, like. What would Jesus do? He wouldn't worship Z'Ahrt ~
So I tried to please this girl. I gave sincere effort to drawing her 'plainly'. And I felt a little more evolved because she was pleased:

Tonight's gig was interesting. My Agent sent me to a house that was down the block from the house where I grew up. Arrived a few minutes early, parked beside a house where I used to play with a little girl named Valerie.
and..... everything changes. It was just another house for me. Like having been sent Anywhere. Except traveling to get there was real easy.
Black/White Party. I arrived early and practiced a few in the car. it was fun because I was getting in to the Exaggerations just the right amount.
A good time was had by all.

Did you know that I do Face-Painting as well as Caricatures?
Well, I do....
Last night I did Face-Painting for the cutest Pre-School Graduation.
I arrived early and had some time to play around with some ideas before the event.
I came up with a New Idea. Hark! A New Idea!
As of now, I've only done Either Caricatures Or Face-Painting at any one time.
Switching Setups back and forth feels crazy.
But it could be Fun to try it this new way - the new idea I just came up with.
