I recently booked an Event for the Montblanc Store in which I was asked to Draw and Paint in the Style of The Little Prince.
I explained that I would only be painting My Own Pictures in the same Style that was used in the Little Prince.
So, getting ready to Draw and Paint in a Different Style with a Different Medium (Water Colors), I set about to 'Study'. I made a Caricature based on a Photo of a Lady that I Caricatured at a Recent Party. On my Regular Paper because my Client wants me to work on her "Stationary". I'm figuring that won't be real WaterColor Paper.
Turned out to be as Easy as I thought it would be.
I will really Enjoy this Event. I love to Paint. And I admired this beautiful book since I was in High School!
But I'm hoping I will still feel good after working in this Style for several Hours. I felt surprised to Experience "Nervous Lines" that are part of this Style. Not at all the Smooth Confident Lines of My Own Style.

Busy season for Party Artists. So much to prepare. So much to do. But....... I'm going out there. Going to smell those Tulips before they're spent.... And while I was at it, I even okay, I'll bend down more..... While I was smelling the Wow Tulips, I even bent down more to smell the Mmmmmmm grape Hyacinths. As they say, you gotta Stop and Smell the Roses.....
