Lovely lady ~ really cool. Great reaction to this Caricature that I drew of her at a recent Event. I sure wished I could have gotten a more accurate take on her teeth While I was drawing. They were quite noticeable Before and After I drew this, but then..... Not While I was drawing. Right after I drew it, I saw the different spacing and the smaller size of the Individual tooths.
Anyway, great reaction. I felt supported in my interest in Exaggeration. So when I got back to the studio, I drew these other Caricatures based on random photos.
I was really 'in the Zone'. Able to Let Go of trying to second guess what people Might think. I felt Smooth and Haaappy with the two papers of 'couples'. Comfortable drawing and excellent results.
But I couldn't (see?) (handle?) the Exaggerations on the 2 Caricatures of Individuals ENOUGH. At first, I might have guessed because it's harder to exaggerate young Children. That maybe it would be easier to just switch to my (slightly) tamer style for young children. But no.... it's not that.... Because there's a perfectly exaggerated Child in one of the 'Couples' Caricatures.
and the process continues. I am an Artist.

Even the Artist was impressed. The Artist ~ who has been going to several events each week. For many years.
It was The Best band I ever saw was playing. It was a One-Man-Band. One man who coordinated Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, DrummSS, VocALz..... Harmonies. Dynamics. Intensities. One-man who brought led the whole room through an emotional trail....
And I was drawing The Scene.
My drawings help us recall the times. My Party Pictures help us remember whole Scene.

As I promised ~ in the recent post of March 22, 2022 ~ I'll tell you my 2 ideas that I didn't follow through on while drawing this FASHION SKETCH. CLICK ON THE MP4 LINK BELOW to watch it, and you will see the ideas pass by quickly.
You will see a squiggly (triple?quadruple?) hourglass ideas in the predraw. I considered drawing an undulating picture with that, but I decided to stay with my original idea of one tight hold near the ankles.
And for quite a while, you will see a mermaid tail in the (water) background. Before starting this drawing, I considered drawing the bride as a Mermaid to play with the design of the Dress. But I decided to stick with my idea of one tight hold near the ankles. So while I was drawing it, I realized that I could give a hint about the mermaid idea by throwing the mermaid tail into the background.............Hmmmm, I decided not to do that because it was taking away from the glamorous feel of the picture.
So many ideas. And Artist has to make Choices in order to make a clear statement.
