Ah yes. One couple getting engaged, and then a 30th Anniversary Party.
I feel just right about posting some pictures from this 30th Anniversary Party right after posting an Engagement Caricature. Especially because the picture that says "together" on it was a picture of a newleywed couple who just happened to be at the 30th Anniversary Party. Life Passages.
I feel so fortunate to be involved with people at all stages of their lives, from Birth through to the Nursing Homes.

Here are some of the pictures that I drew at the 'less exaggerated with body/hobby in color' that night. I was pleasantly surprised that the guests felt just like I did ~ When I asked what they wanted to be doing in the picture (body/hobby), I got answers like, "Ummm, I don't know. How about just standing here." And "Eating a lolli-pop (what they were actually doing at the time).
I agree. Why attach yourself to your baseball game when you're at your friend's Wedding? Why design the dress you're going to be wearing to the Wedding while you're on the baseball field? Be here now. It's really all we can do anyway.

I drew these pictures on September 30th. I can tell because the bride had had me preprint the papers with the date. Such nice people. Today would be their three-month anniversary.
I remember these people ~ how beautifully the bride danced ~ how happy the guests were ~ and that the bride even emailed me the day after the celebrations to let me know how much everyone enjoyed the pictures that i drew. We all have such good memories.
