I photographed that picture that I was writing about again - the one that didn't pick up the neon-orange in my blog entry of November 20, 2008. This time I used my digital camera - something extra that I don't usually carry around with me. Still didn't pick up the brightness of the color, but at least it's orange:

You know already that I've worked at some of the finest places.
Grand. Famous. I'm so fortunate to be 'out there'.
But one of my favorite places is still a restaurant in Oceanside.
Alias Smith and Jones. It has a few Party Rooms, so I've worked
there many times over the years.
I had an easy day to work there again today. This is a picture that I drew of Diane several years ago - I was so happy when she showed me that she still keeps it around. Diane runs Alias Smith and Jones - Makes everybody comfortable.
It's all good. We choose different experiences from the Smorgasboard of Life
on different days. I hope we can all experience all the good ones.

How I ended up watching this movie - Summer Catch - don't ask.
But there I was......What to do? I know! I'll draw some pictures!
Actually, I did pick up one good line form this movie.
I don't remember exactly how they said it, but it was
something like - The reason the Indian Rain Dance worked
is that they didn't stop dancing until it rained.

Oh my goodness. We live in such happy times.
Imagine - a young girl's birthday party - her little
friends around - and she not only gets a Caricaturist -
It's even held at a Chocolate Fondue restaurant.
I usually prefer for my clients to acknowledge that
I'm not just some Drawing Broad - that I'm a human
being too -- and offer me some of the wonderful
things that they are enjoying. I think it's classy,
even if I choose not to eat. But this time, I was
frustrated that nothing was offered to me. I really
wanted that melted chocolate. But now that it's
days later, I'm glad that I didn't feel welcome to
partake. Because that yummy gooey chocolate
could be real unhealthy to eat.
I just spent 8 minutes on my wooden Yoga pillow.
Then 8 minutes bending the opposite way.
And I feel so Great. It's better to feel good
than to eat yummy junk.
