Party Life. So exciting. So much fun. I usually do that several times per week.
Mixing things up a bit. To do something different. I volunteered at LINPI. That's Long Island Native Plant Initiative. I did a little Gardening there. It was easy. And it felt satisfying to see the finished Flats that I made for them.
The Long Island Plant Initiative focuses on growing Only the plants that are native to Long Island. It's very interesting to see the differences between LINPI and my own Garden. Things like a completely different type of mint. Did you know that the types of mints that originated on Long Island have short thin leaves? So different than the invasive species of standard leaf-shaped leaves that grow all over the place.

I got myself out to the park yesterday. It was a very good idea. Can you just imagine the way the Air smelled? There was a good comfortable breeze. And the lighting was just right
I ate a mitten-sized leaf from a sassafras tree. Expected it to be fibrous. a leaf from a tree, you know. But it felt fascinating that it was easy to eat
