Clearing out Clutter. I got rid of Thousands of dollars worth of Oil Paints and Pastels recently. Because I hadn't used them in over a decade. Even though I was very good with them, and most of the were completely new. Unused. And I even had the pastels carefully organized according to Value and Intensity. I'm more likely to make time for cleaner ways to make pictures.

I drew some pictures watching You Tubes. Using just One Black Chartpack Marker felt like Way to Go! Thick strokes as well as a decent point. Calm and Easy. No predraw. No care. Just getting in to the Feel of the people I was watching on You Tube:

Then, going about my day, I grabbed a sheet of paper from my scrap paper pile. To write a shopping list. Surprise! Some previously abandoned picture was in the pile of scrap paper. It's just linework also, but it looks Finer. Because I had been using a Black Tombo Brush Marker. Apparently, I can pick up either style of these Markers that I particularly like ~ love ~ to draw with. Different results, but easy supplies to use. Art isn't supposed to be Work.

Watching movies while pen is moving. What else is new for an Artist who closed her business ~ for now.

As much as I miss being 'involved', I gotta say that this sure is pleasant

Oh ~ It feels angk to drop my Artwork, feels difficult to choose to do the work I Need to be doing today, but that's what makes sense. So that's what I'm going to do.

I currently don't have the (excuse?) to prioritize Artwork ~ because the business is Closed. So even though I feel inspired (oh so inspired) to develop my Pictures, I can't justify it. As a responsible adult, there are so many other things I'm supposed to be doing. Oh

On my down-time (aka taking a Short Break), my marker was moving while I surfed the web. Time off. I had a Sharpie Marker. and a long piece of scrap paper........ Nothing serious ~ No predraw ~ no intention. Just 10-minutes of buzzing out in front of a Bobcat One Man Band Live Stream.

Oh Oh. I wish I could continue on. I wish I could make a project out of this. I would want to either both Redraw it ~ Elongating Guitar Neck, being more playful quick with dropping the Shapes around...... and Mostly to TAKE OUT ACRYLIC PAINTS RE BETTER TO PAINT THIS THAN TO DRAW IT.

But No. I have to stay the course. Party Entertainment Ideas Inc is Closed. Taking time to draw and paint is a luxury that I can't afford when I'm not getting paid for it. I'm just going to go handle the desk-work and house-cleaning now. Oh

Party Entertainment Ideas Inc has been Closed as of December 31, 2025. The Artist 'pen' keeps moving ~ can't stop even though she hasn't yet established herself elsewhere. An Artist makes Artwork even when it's not a job.

Feels like something is missing when she isn't drawing/painting/creating. So many other parts of life take over that time just gooooes byeee.

So I said ~ Just draw Something anything today since I do have a chance to do it now. at the Car Repair place. Because I needed a new headlight.

While I was in the waiting room, I quietly drew the Stroller that was there. The child and the stroller didn't stay still for me because nobody knew I was drawing it. So it's partially 'draw what you see' and partially 'stylize'. It's Real. It felt good
