I started by drawing this Caricature with Markers on Paper.
The thing about real Artwork is that it is Not controlled. It is Not like filling in the blanks. Drawn directly In Marker, there is No editing.
Hmmmm..... I brought a photo of that first Caricature into my IPad, where I can do all the editing I want.
I draw by Hand on my IPad ~ just as if I was drawing with pencil on paper, but I use a stylus on the digital screen instead.
I rearranged a few things, and Voila!
Here you can see the Finished Caricature (Client requested it to be toned down and black/white).

There's so many different ways to Caricature the same face. I drew these from the same reference photo. The 2nd and 4th pictures are both perfect ~ yet I feel like they are very different from each other, aren't they?
She looked older than she was in the first Caricature. I'm trying to figure out what it is that 'ages' that drawing.
and there's room to work on the 3rd Caricature. I feel like I could make it work if I want to try it Again. But probably not going to. Because the 2nd and 4th Caricatures look fine.
Follow Up on December 15, 2024: Ahah! I got it. Of course. The first Caricature looks 'aged' because of the way I handled the chin ~ lines in to the face. I could have drawn the same Caricature but with the chin hanging off the bottom of the face, and the face would have looked the right 'age'.

I drew 6 Caricatures based on the Same Random Reference Photo. One of the 2 Excellent Caricatures if my Favorite. One Caricature is 'eh'. And the other 3 Caricatures are ok.
I wonder if you can tell which is which. I wonder if you can tell which 2 are Excellent Art, and which one is blah Hack Stuff
