I've been wondering lately about What's a Party For? Obvious answers are things like to Honour someone that deserves your attention, or to Make Your Child the Important Person. Also, how about to Meet People and have a chance to affect them. Things like that. But I'm remembering like Why did I get excited about going to Parties when I was a very young child. It wasn't just the potato chips. I'm remembering how the word Party, getting ready for the Party, just the idea of going to the Party, was like a light-switch to Turn On Happiness.

and that's still why I work at Parties. Drawing Caricatures, interacting with my visions..... It's a Happy Place. A Happy Time. On top of all the meeting people, seeing how well the Guest of Honor is doing, feeling included in this group.... On top of all that is an umbrella of Happiness.

Took this photo when I walked into the Art Supply Store. I like the slogan on the shirt. Erase Hate.

I figure that we could Erase all sorts of things we don't like. We could erase it with Rainbow colors ~ like these. It's good to be an #Artist.

As with everything we do, the Experience is different than just saying it.

First, I erased Fear with a rainbow line ~ like the one I saw on the Shirt. In order to do that, I made an Opaque Layer of White, and then I drew Transparent Colors on top of it. I needed to do that so I could make the bright Colors obliterate what was underneath it.

Then I erased Panic with White.

Then I tried to erase a Scene ~ going right into it with Transparent Rainbow Colors. On top of the Black background that the tshirt-Artist chose so perfectly, the Transparent Rainbow Colors did not look delightful. I realized that we need an intermediary. Like going to Jesus to erase our sins. For this project's intermediary, I had to put a Layer of White over the Scene before I could apply the Colors. And then I let the Colors fly off the white ~ to even take over the Black scene.

I feel good.

I particularly Love that I just discovered that we don't have to somehow Stop the bad things from the past like we do with a Pencil Eraser. In this Non-physical world, we can easily Erase them the way I did just now in PhotoShop. We can erase past sins by doing something lovely on top of them. Afterwards.

At this Event, I was drawing Caricatures real fast from my Photographs (which I was required to Discard at end of Event).

Client told me to write 6 things on each Caricature (did Not want to have it printed up ahead of time), photograph each person, and then draw the Caricature from my photos while they attended a meeting. That left me with only One-and-a-Half Hours to draw 18 Caricatures.

I work by the Hour, not by the piece, but I do Try to accommodate my Clients if possible. This was just a little faster than I usually draw, so I pushed myself hoping to meet their request. I did it! Funny how it feels so Fast when you Up your speed ~ whether Jogging Or Drawing Caricatures.

I like how they inspired me to come out with a lot of stuff real fast. To get the Creativity flowing. By Producing it, I just kept getting better and better at it. And even the first ones were fine to use.
