Just warming up for this weekend's event. I'm going to be drawing Fashion Sketches at a Wedding. So I figure that a lot of people will want to be drawn as a Couple. It's hard to keep full-body from taking up the whole page ~ I like to practice that before an Event so I'll be in the Zone to draw them as Couples.
Here's the first one I drew:
The dress was a beautiful blue, but I felt like it took too long to Color the whole thing. Wouldn't work well At a party. So I drew it again. This one feels more delightful to me. And everything ~ including Color ~ can just be 'Indicated' when drawing Fashion Sketches:
Then I drew the following picture. I wanted to keep it Simple ~ Just draw one person standing next to the other person. And I could even make it Fun this time ~ by emphasizing the Size Difference between the 2 people.
It's okay, but I personally prefer something more..... dynamic? is that the word? Flowy? Interrelated? So I drew this one:
I feel ready for the Event. Actually, I felt ready for the Event even Before I drew these. I just love drawing them. Can't get enough of it, so I keep trying different things
