What a pleasant surprise I had. Random Act of Kindness from a stranger.
I usually gift myself some down-time after I draw at a Party. It looks easy, but it feels intense to me when I'm done. I give it my all.
One of the things that I'm likely to do after drawing at a Party is to go to a restaurant. By myself. Clear my head from excitement. So it's funny that I'll frequently want to draw pictures at that time ~ still drawing ~ but at my down-time, it's drawing just for myself.
So there I was. Quiet. Drawing while waiting for my cheese ravioli to be ready. When..... a teen (or young adult) walked up to my table and silently handed me this note. She had no idea that I am a Professional Artist, so it was just her kindness ~ wanting to acknowledge what she saw.
It just took one quick moment to make me notice that there is love in the world. Just floating around out there. From the sort of people who are in tune with it:
