Oh My Goodness. I had to laugh. I was actually setting up to draw at a Holiday Party where the Staff looped this video for over half an hour (an hour?) while we set up for the Holiday Party. It's even labeled right on the screen that this is a Quote "Ten Minute Annoyance" Unquote. Lol ~ Since they played it more than once (some people might have even stopped the video Before it was finished?), I really thought they were going to continue it throughout the entire Party. It must have taken an unusual skill to make that video, to figure out what would be the Most Annoying video. I felt amazed that this could be done.

Aw heck ~ This is the sort of picture that I like to SEE. It's Fun. Not boring. Not studious. It's what I would want to HAVE. (One of them is a picture I drew of Myself ~ Do You know which one it is?)
But it's actually more fun to DRAW the plainer pictures at Events ~ like the picture I posted yesterday. Not stressful. It's Fun to make beautiful strokes. Especially if it's with a Juicy Marker (or paint). No need to Play with what I see to draw those tamer pictures.
When people are Paying me by the hour, I don't have enough time to actually Enjoy the Playing. So it feels less stressful to give the people the beautiful strokes. So I don't mind if they do or don't appreciate the Real Art that goes into the wild exaggerations. I like to DO Both things. I like to Play and exaggerate. And I also like to Relax and Doodle with Purpose. And most of all, I like to make people Happy.

Here are some more pictures from the Macy Day Parade. I didn't have a chance to put them into the previous post. But so many people that I want to remember. Each one is Special to me. Each picture unique. And the artistic interaction that I have to sync into to draw what I feel. To draw satisfying Caricatures.
This year I took it easy. This was the only Thanksgiving Event that I took because I thought I would be too tired. (I drew at a late event the night before Thanksgiving, and then I had to be at this event before 8 a.m.). But now I'm wishing that I had agreed to draw for the woman who wanted to hire me for her Thanksgiving Dinner. I didn't feel tired at all. I felt energized by drawing these people.
