I understand why a client would want to include an absentee-guest in her heart, but I don't feel like it's the best Party Entertainment. I feel like we have to give attention to the people we are with, even though others might be in our hearts.
But there I was ~ My client's request that I draw from this photo of a girl who could not attend the party. And I'm so glad it worked out well this time. I found litl snippets of alone-time when I could focus on the photo. And I was able to see the Caricature through the photo quickly:

Such a nice group of kids. 10-year-old girl's Birthday Party. It's a great age.
I just wish we adults had more time to focus on them. To enjoy their openness.
Actually, I even wish we gave the children enough time to Enjoy this time of their lives. I didn't have to see it at the Party, but I know that there are a lot of demands on children these days.
