You can't think it up ahead of time. It just happens when I'm making the picture. That's what makes it Real art.
In this case, I was at home in my time off. Just doodling. Because there were some supplies here leftover from a Party. Some blue paper. And some old markers. Just doodling.
Party Graffiti. I dream up words in the moment. Hoping to motivate people. How about a picture of the word 'Do'. Short and to the point.
The marker was dried out. I usually would have gone over the lines again ~ or looked for a better marker, but no. It will have more impact if I hang it on my wall as-is. The roughness of the lines show me what it can be like to 'Do' stuff sometimes. Difficult things might start out Rough. Incomplete. But that doesn't mean we don't have to Do them. If we just Start, if we just Do something, we are on our way

Well..... that's being a little facetious (a word that I learned when studying for my SAT's)..... but it sounded right tonight. Because I'm not sure if I was practicing the new style that I have been developing for the past week, Or if I was just finally able to draw what I used to try to draw back when I was in high school.
Either way, I feel like it's a Fun style to bring to Parties. I was drawing new Caricatures of people that I previously drew (posted elsewhere on this blog):
Btw, I did No Predraw. And I didn't even randomly choose the 2nd face to draw in each picture until I was Finished drawing the first one. That's not usually the way I draw. I felt amazed that it worked out.
