People aren't so panicky about the pandemic now. More Caricature Parties are being booked. So I drew a new cartoon to describe my Favorite Set Up.
I can draw with just what I bring, in whatever space is available. And I can't tell ahead of time whether I would feel like Sitting or Standing. If I'm feeling tired or if I've been on my feet all day, I can Enjoy, and therefor Focus to create better Artwork if I can Sit. But if I had a long drive to the event or if I didn't go jogging when I usually would, I feel constrained if I have to Sit while drawing.
There are benefits to both ~ Sitting or Standing. For example, It's better to Sit while drawing Children because it helps them understand that they are supposed to stay there. And Sitting also helps the Artist to be closer to eye-level with the Children, so she's not confusing her Quick image by looking down at the tops of their heads. But Standing helps the Artist's Energy ~ She can dance around and position the Guests clearly. What the Artist Needs to create her best work is to be in touch with her own inner energies.
I bring my Standing Easel, but if the venue can also provide us with 5 Chairs, that's Super. It gives me the flexibility to switch as needed

I'm prepared to draw some Graffiti/Calligraphy Names at a Purim Party.
That's when the Guest tells me his/her name as well as which Purim Character Style they want.

I still do get some in-person Party work these days. I arrive with my regular Party spirit. Energy. Ready for a Party! But the Parties feel different. The People aren't sure about what they can do. Because of the Corona Virus situation.
We had a great time ~ As usual, I get some great reactions to my Party Caricatures. But sometimes it feels like a swimming pool in a desert. What's happening to people? I wonder most about the people who don't even get out to these small Parties. What will happen to them? Will they remember how to Celebrate? Will they remember this type of Shared Fun?

I was asked to draw Fashion Sketches at a Virtual Event. As though Virtual Event doesn't give us enough hurdles, before figuring out how I would see people head-to-toe so I could see their Fashions, I figured I should first make sure I could still draw Fashion Sketches digitally. So I tried it based on photos that I found online ~ just for practice
That was Fun! For me. I still don't know how I would be able to see the whole outfit of the Guests on Zoom ~ where we usually just see Faces
