One style or the other style. It's all good. It's the choice of the moment.
Just like I have to choose front view or 3/4 view as I'm drawing,
just like I have to choose a heavy line or a light line constantly,
I also have to choose my approach to each picture.
Based on what will work for me in the moment.
That's why it's called Artwork.
It's not a good idea to try to Force one style or the other.
Here are my 2 different styles of In the Moment Party Art.
I like to post them side-by-side so I can see how the two
different styles compare. It's all good.

A simple Party. For alumni at a local College. I chose to keep the Caricatures mild that night, and apparently I made the right choice for Entertaining these people. They had such a good time with it. That's important to me. I feel like Parties are created with the intention of bringing such moments of Joy to people.

Oh will I ever catch up with my 'housework'? Or shall I say 'officework'?
I draw so many people. I have a good time with so many people. But it's just for a moment. And then, on to the next. Fun is my job. Fun is my middle name.
I want to post them right away. It feels great to see my Artwork after it's finished. But I don't always get time to post the photos of my Artwork. Because it's time to get ready for the next event. Or draw the next studio piece. Or or fold the laundry.

Here are a few more pictures from that Fun Party. They had the best of everything there. Great pictures, great guests, great food, and THE ROSES. Oh. I wish I took a photo of the flowers, too. I can just remember how they made me feel.
