Here's an Upcycle that I previously made. I had been hired to make Glitter Tattoos and Black Tattoos at a Mardgras Event at a College. Hmmm.... What to wear? I didn't want to ruin my good clothes in case I got glue and stuff on my clothes, but I couldn't wear my in-the-house-only clothes.
So I took a shirt that wasn't my favorite. At that time. Because it was too big, maybe even a mystery stain on it. And I quickly decorated it. Had to be Quick yes. Because it was a last-minute event, and I only had a day or so to prepare.
I used Fabric Glue for the rhinestones. I used a black Sharpie marker. I used some white paint (fabric paint? or just plain acrylic paint? I don't remember what I had here.) And I quickly just Did Something.
Turned out that I liked it so much that now I save it to wear only for Special. One of my favorites. Stayed decorated even though I've washed it many times already. Inside out. In a mesh laundry bag. We can do this. When we don't have the time to find and buy what we want ~ Or when we can't find what to buy anyway ~ we usually don't have to look any further than 'our own backyard', as is said in The Wizard of Oz. It just Happens. G-d makes our lives easier than we think it is.

Big Bat Mitzvah. I was hired to create a lot of FREEHAND TEMPORARY TATTOOS Very Quickly. It was a good thing that I brought along Supplies to make the FLAT TEMPORARY TATTOOS as well as the GLITTER TATTOOS. As Fantastic as the Glitter is ~ like Wow ~ most of the Boys only wanted the Flat Tattoos ~ without Glitter.
They Both rest on the Surface of the skin and last about a Week.

My Freehand Tattoos at the Pool Party. They do Not wash off in the Water.

Here it is. The girls from Team 4. Glitter Tattoos.
I don't know what it means, but barely 2 minutes left on the clock, and they were all a-giddy to get Team 4 Tattooed. "Okay" I say. And I felt like I was part of their together-experience.
I wish I knew this when I was younger. It would have felt so easy to be part of Any group if I just helped Then solidify their 'togetherness'. I could have become the Team Artist, aka, part of the Team. Not left out.
