This man sat next to me in a diner. I drew him with no predraw.. Snapped a photo afterwards to show it here.. Because it's such a good Caricature.. My associate was with me, and she laughed and laughed.. (I guess she's not as used to it as I am.)

On 11/15/08, I wrote that I would post photos of the Artists that I had just drawn. I found some of their photos here. So many wonderful pictures. My life is so full of wonder. We're living in 'the future'.

I drew Artist Mary Thompson. And here's what she had to say about it: "I think your work is fantastic - a real inspiration. The line work is calligraphic. The coloring is delightful. Composition is dynamic. The subject is recognizable but you have taken the image way beyond. Magic! "When I teach I will be showing your work as an example of the best in caricature today." So I have to say "Thank You Mary!" Could it be that I will be written into those Archival Art History Books some day??? I have arrived!
