Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes in a bar? Here I was hired to draw the employees at a bar's business meeting. Started 12 noon. Everyone had to try all the different kinds of wines so they would be able to make recommendations to their customers. Wine merchants were also there ~ to teach the employees stories and backgrounds about the wines. It looked exhausting.

My new Jaja stylus arrived today. Here's the first try I did with it on my IPad. More like painting. But yet not like oil paints on canvas. Just like colored pencils are not like oil paints. Digital Painting is a new media for me. Will take a little time until I'm completely comfortable with it, but I feel confident now that I got the Jaja. I like using it.
The first picture is my first pass.
In the second picture, I changed the background.
I wanted to see them both side by side.
I feel like I'm going to like the 2nd one better.

Here is a serious Fashion Sketch that I created in the Studio.
It's a logo for a new Spa.
I will be drawing more Fashion Sketches at a Sweet 16 tomorrow. Oh I like this.
Fashion Sketches are pictures that exaaaaaggerate the clothes.
I'm interested in that.
So are the people who come all dressed up to Parties.
I have so many events coming up soon which ordered the Fashion Sketches.
Two Sweet 16's, Two Corporate Events, a Wedding, and Cocktail Party. So much running around, I do hope that I remember to take some photos of my drawings.

If I am drawing Adults, I usually Stand at my easel. It feels more energetic. I can have bigger movements. People ask me how I can stand so long. So many people are interested in that. So I'm going to explain it here. It feels like my Posture skills can be helpful.
I Move. Even if just switching my weight from foot to foot.
And a neat trick I developed which helps if my lower back feels tight ~ I don't know if that's officially 'correct', but it works for me. It keeps me comfortable.
Actually, I used to feel more discomfort if I was Sitting to draw for hours. That's what I do if I'm drawing Children. So I can be more eye-to-eye with the Children. Sometimes I slouched while sitting. It felt uncomfortable. But then I discovered that I could lift the height of the paper ~ that made me lift my arms higher ~ and ~ voila. When I lift my arms higher, the slouch went away. My back straightened up and I feel renewed Energy.
And if the opposite happens, if my neck and shoulders crunch up, I just Lower the height of the paper ~ bringing my arms down higher. Voila. Ahhh.
As far as the lower back while sitting ~ If that feels stressed, I easily change it by rotating my knees up or down, feet in or out ~ whatever it needs. It's usually as easy as swallowing instead of drooling.
Doesn't matter what I'm doing ~ whether it's Drawing or driving, watching tv, lifting weights, or dancing ~ Posture counts.
