I understand that people ~ who Enjoy my Caricatures ~ like to come back again and again during the Same Party. When I haven't had much time-distance between drawings. It is fun ~ but ~ in trying to see everything fresh ~ each picture to be a new take ~ I usually feel like my first ideas were the best.
Here's a situation in which I drew each person separately ~ ~ ~ and Then, I drew them together onto one page. It's all good, but I feel like the first pictures of them were the better ones.
Hmmmm.... this is usually the case when I draw them In Person. But different things come in to play when I Caricature the Caricature. aka draw my 2nd picture based on my 1st picture. If I get a chance to do that soon, I'll post That too.

I was hired to draw Black-and-White Caricatures. So how to 'color' people with Dark Skin? I felt concerned that it shouldn't look like I had such limited ability that I would have thought that 'black' people are actually Black. Of course we all come in all different shades. Of Real Colors. Red Orange Yellow Blue Green Violet. That's all there is.
Whew. Glad that the Black-and-White picture looks Fine. A black-and-white picture for dark-skinned people is the same as a black-and-white picture for light-skinned people. It's just a black-and-white picture.
And I do like the Thinner Paper! The (Color) applies More Smoothly.
