Even in my time off, I try to stay upbeat. I'm doing okay, and I'm not desparing over that which was taken from me. But it does feel (sad, disappointed, amazed, shocked) that I don't feel comfortable to go to NYC anymore. I previously worked all over Manhattan ~ upscale venues, down'n'out venues........ and even famous places like
Carnegie Hall
Sardi's
The Russian Tea Room
The Rotunda
The Friar's Club
Penthouses overlooking International Embassies
and also the plebian Central Park. But this is not now. This past year's riots..... What can I even say? Even if I'm ever willing to go to the City again, it's Different. Would it feel like a ghost town? Would I feel like I don't belong there? Anymore.

I thought my recent post about ONE easy Relaxed way to draw would work for draiwng Anyone. So I felt surprised when it just wasn't working last night.
I finally went with a different one of my approaches this morning, and I finally liked the picture. Also a Relaxed approach. But it's a more Exaggerated Style.

Just hanging around here tonight. I fell into this cool and relaxed approach for drawing Caricatures. I feel like it will have a good impact on my performance at Parties. No agony with the drawing would result in more comfort for the Guests and quicker production.
In the first picture here, I was developing this approach. In the last 2 pictures here, I was applying it.
