I spendt too much time playing aorund in my Studio tonight. I meant to apply some simple shading to this Digital Caricature that I drew ~ based on a photograph of a girl that I peviously drew regular at a Party.
But I didn't. I shaded it the same way I usually do
I just love this Digital Equipment. While I Think I would want to develop a mindless way to do it, I guess I don't really want to do that. I just like to draw and color playfully.
Update the next day ~ Oh yes ~ I did apply the new style Shading. I did. I didn't. It's all so subtle.
aaaand.... here I applied it withOut subtle Colors. hmmmmmm :

Sometimes I forget to photograph the person I am drawing. I could sigh 'Oh', Sighoh, but I don't. It gives me a chance to see if the Caricture can stand on its own. To see if it's fine Artwork ~ universal message ~ regardless of 'who it looks like'.

I decided to redraw a Caricature that I drew a digitally a couple of years ago.
But tonight's drawing was drawn with Markers. The old one was Fine. But I feel like I can see my artistic growth. Regardless of the medium. This new one looks much more lively. And it felt better to draw it.

It's a good thing I give attention to getting ready for my Events ahead of time. Tonight I drew a simple Caricature based on a photo from my website. Originally drawn with Markers at a Party, tonight I made a new drawing with the IPad. Because I have to be ready to run right in and start drawing at my 2nd Event tomorrow. It will be for Digital #Caricatures.
I used the regular template that I often use. But I felt so surprised with the Coloring Layer. I don't know why it was putting little dots all over the Colored areas. It didn't matter which Brush I used. I tried it with several different brushes ~ all had those unique White Dots. Looked intriguing this time, but I would feel frustrated if I couldn't control that at tomorrow's #Party. So I will go make a New Template now.
Time for a new one anyway. I've really simplified since I first made that template, and I don't use most of it these days anyway.
btw, hmmmm...... I only drew Yellow Teeth alone in my Studio. I would Never do that at a Party. Even though, objectively looking at Colors, Everyone's teeth are offwhite ~ usually in the Yellow-family. Some darker than others. (ok ~ a few of you have such White Teeth that they look blue). Anyway, it's curious that I cannot draw Yellow Teeth without insulting people. And I even feel like it looks bright and golden And Nice in this Caricature.
