Sometimes I 'do nothing' as he suggests. That's Not while I'm watching him. I do nothing when I'm not watching anything. When I'm not drawing. When I'm not singing. When I'm not looking At anything.
But while I'm watching his You Tubes, I'm also intrigued to look at him. Here's one of the Caricatures I felt inspired to draw

Still watching Leo's videos on You Tube. Always fascinated to Watch him as well as to hear his message.
I felt like my previous Caricature was a bit tame ~ I feel like I should be able to do more with it. So today I approached it again fresh. Totally dissatisfied with what I was drawing ~ why is this guy so hard for me to Caricature?? I finally got one that I felt was passable.
But when I came here to post it, I felt surprised to see that my Original Caricature of him was still the best one. That's usually the case for me. That my first idea is the one that's the best

Aaaahhh ~ Whew ~ I recently had a stiffening case of Artist's Angst. It's like the Flu ~ something that comes our way sometimes. But we usually get over it in a week or so.
It comes from comparing ourselves to others. Or from having an interaction with someone who wants to control the outcome before the Art is created. Or or from trying to incorporate 'what I used to do with Oil Paints' with 'what I can do with the Quick Caricatures that I make now.
Aaaaahhh ~ I just loosened up again, regained my Confidence, and I'm drawing freely again. Aaaaaahhhhh.

Oh my goodness. I was recently clearing out my drawers, and I found this old Sample. I had made it many years ago ~ back when I was first starting as a Professional Caricature Artist. I didn't even know the word 'Caricatures' back then. I called them 'Cartoonicatures'.
I'm just glad to see that I actually got good Likenesses. Even way back then. When I hadn't yet Evolved.
