Oh my goodness. Overwhelmed by an overAll sense of Loneliness tonight. I had planned on taking out thinner markers to draw Communion Girls in respect of my next scheduled Event, but I ended up watching a YouTube about Loneliness. So the first one I drew was the You Tube guy I was watching.

He really was that rectangular. But I don't like the busyness of the thinner marker. On him.

Then I felt ready to draw another. For Reference, I used a Girl who was holding an old Fashion Sketch that I drew at a Store Event several years ago. Just felt like keeping my marker moving. To see what happens when I use a smaller marker than usual. Because I wondered if the finer marker might be... well... finer ~ for the little girls that I would be seeing at a Communion this weekend.

In the first Caricature that I drew, I purposely Chose to ignore a 'rule' that a friend taught me many years ago ~ that no matter what I see, don't draw little children with big chins. Not too bad, well, maybe. If I was using my Regular Marker ~ but ick this picture looked stiff.

Tried it again ~ smaller chin ~ but something is off.

Two more useless Starts. I gotta stop trying so hard.

Yes ~ then I finally loved the last picture I drew here (the one with the Brown shading). A+

I used the thinner marker. I drew a little Body/Hobby with this picture ~ which is not needed for my upcoming Event (Yay). Wondering if I would feel pleased with the Caricature without the Body/Hobby. Because the thinner marker ~ finer being good for her fine features ~ doesn't have the pizzazz that I like for my pictures.

What am I doing? Drawing Girls? Or Drawing Pictures?

I didn't know Why I was focusing on Digital Caricatures tonight. I booked an Event for Digital Caricatures like a Month from now. I have plenty of Other types of Party Art to handle before it.

But I did. I just like to Connect with the IPad

and then..... I drew Another Digital Caricature the next night. To practice and be real familiar with the equipment. Which I am.

This Party was a pleasant Surprise. For me. Comfortable, Self-assured Children (mostly 12-year-old Girls) ~ who actually weren't afraid to have Fun. This is what Childhood should be. I feel like I can't say enough about it. I was drawing Caricatures at this Party of Wonderful, UNINHIBITED Children having simple healthy fun. Confident enough to be able to laugh at themselves.

Of course we know that all these Children are Beautiful. How can you be anything But beautiful at this age? And I was able to see their inner beautify shine though also. A Community Spirit of Love, Joy, Acceptance, and Accepted.

I'm not sure of what to forecast for an Upcoming Party. But what I am sure of is that there will be some Teenage Boys there. So I decided to draw some teenage boys. I used random photos that I found online for reference.

Good thing that I practiced first at home so I caught that. So now I remembered to Look at what I'm Drawing while drawing it. And to draw the Face before considering whether or not I want to include other things:

I'm not expecting many people at this Small Party. So I want to feel ready to swing into Body/Hobby ~ just in case. I discovered that different things work on different days. Tonight I did not like going Near the old fashioned bighead/littlebodies. I did much better to just draw the Face, and Then add in whatever part of a body/hobby fits in the space that is left over.

Note: I sure don't shy away from the difficult ones ~ I don't look for Reference pictures of people who have something easy to Caricature. It keeps me comfortable to handle any person who shows up at the Party:
