This is the Caricature I drew tonight. I made a small attempt to drawing it on Paper with Marker, but quickly realized how much easier it would be to use the IPad so I could resize everything as I was working. I haven't used the IPad in a while.

So oh ~ wouldn't you know it. The first thing I did was to draw out the whole thing on an Opaque layer. I figured that out when I tried to add in some Colors. So I made a Transparent Layer on top, and I had to trace over all my lines.

Then.... happily Coloring away..... the bottom of my palm touched and slid down on the IPad. Aaaghk! The whole thing disappeared. I was not expecting That. I don't know how what happened. I could only find it in the Gallery at a Much earlier point. Finally, with acceptance, I tapped on that earlier rendition, and Up popped the full Caricature to this point that I had drawn to.

I'm really too busy to be drawing Caricatures tonight. I really wanted to revamp my whole Facepainting Set Up before #The Fourth of July, put away several week's worth of Event folders from previous Events, and prepare for both Parties that are already booked for this week. I planned on doing an Exaggerated Caricature real fast.

The first thing that happened was that it felt hard to size the drawing on the paper ~ because I wanted to enlarge Both the beard And the teeth. Ahah! That's when I had taken out my IPad. I love my IPad. So that's all I did. Didn't even finish the Caricature. But I do like it. and it's now 2:30am.

I didn't finish this Caricature which I was making just for fun. I have a lot of Artwork to do ~ Now ~ all due in just a couple of days. This was me taking a break to just draw a Quick Exaggeration with no pressure ~ feeling loose ~ in the groove ~

This is all I got done. I don't know if I'll get a chance to get back in to it

Switching gears again. After days of drawing that Gift Caricature ~ where I was Enjoying how simple it feels to just draw a Tame picture ~ I called my Client to touch base for today's Graduation Party. And I was told that this Client hired Me specifically because she liked my Fun pictures. She had seen one from her friend's daughter's recent Party where I had been drawing Fun Exaggerated Caricatures.

So getting my feet wet ~ I chose a random photo online to draw some Exaggerated Caricatures. At first, fluctuating ~ between the 2 different styles. Then I drew this one. Aaaah. That's the way to Enjoy Drawing.

Whole Foods Store today. New one opened up in Commack NY. Fantastic! This one is like being at home ~ but cleaner with no distractions and more food choices. After watching the new episode of Bunked on the Disney app, I drew this Caricature with an old marker that I had in my pocketbook. Based on a random photo that I found on the web.

Good experience. Sometimes, when you get it just at the right time, an old marker that has enough juice to make decent darks, while also having enough dryness to be able to shade with the same marker
