How and when did you get introduced to the wonderful world of caricature? Back when I started my career as a CARICATURE ARTIST ~ before Y2K if you know what I mean ~ I had no connections to other CARICATURISTS. I tried networking when I would find a CARICATURIST at a Street Fair, but not much came of it. A few Artist friends, yes, but no one even told me that it was called CARICATURE. I coined the term CARTOONICATURE, and I went out there with my PORTRAIT skills. Lol ~ actually holding my thumb up to measure sizes and angles while drawing CARICATURES at Parties.

If you could make 3 wishes come true what would they be? I wish that people didn't judge others based on how they look. I wish that people weren't afraid to look however they turn out. I wish that people didn't buy in to some 'Hollywood' norm that they want to look like. I wish that people treated Everyone with respect. I wish that people would accept all sorts of personalities ~ acknowledging all the parts of themselves as well as of others.

Tell us a funny story relating to caricature... Lol ~ That's a funny question! Since I feel like funny is all CARICATURE should be about! Playing and laughing.

What are your interests? Strokes ~ made with Markers or Colorsticks, Pencils, Brushes..... Strokes ~ made with Hands or Arms, Feet..... How my body works ~ Weight-lifting and Jogging.... What does being a caricature artist mean to you? Being a CARICATURE ARTIST is to know how to really do IT. To understand that Real Art happens only when we are Really in the Zone. Pure Unconcontrolled Experience. Drawing CARICATURES is a time when I can practice that ~ so I will know how to do it when I'm Dancing, Loving, Eating, Talking, playingscrabblecleaningthebathroomsweepingthefloorsitting, answering these Interview Questions ~ Yes I want to leave my answer with that long runtogether word. I feel like it expresses what I'm talking about.

Who or what inspires you as an artist? I look at the Artwork by other Great Artists for Inspiration. Including Peter Maxx, John Lennon, Joe Bluhm, George W Bush, Daniel Greene, Kira Layli,, Charles Sovek, Andy Warhol, Angie Jordan, Keith Haring,

What is your favorite movie OR music? My favorite music is The Arkhams ~ I use it to jog. My favorite movie is Into The Woods.

What was your favorite toy as a child, .....or now? My IPad Pro ~ It's what I've always been waiting for! It's here! It actually exists!

I loved the CARICATURES that I drew here last night. But I did notice that most of the eyes were just hints. It worked in these pictures because that was what I saw. Many of the reference photos were reactions that these people had when I showed them their CARICATURES, and most people squint away their eyes when they Laugh. I wonder why that is. I guess it's something I'll have to think about when I have a chance to do so.

Anyway, I decided to focus on eyes tonight. So I enlarged the photos of a few of the eyes in some of my reference pictures, and I just drew the eyes. Linework like I would use in a Party Caricature, but no real exaggeration. It's Study-time again.

One of the interesting thing I picked up tonight was to see that Not All of the Eyes have a highlight. Another thing to think about. What causes one person's eyes to reflect highlights in the Same Setting where another person's eyes to not reflect highlights ~

Just look at how quickly Vision can Uplift a person. Just look at how quickly Vision can Thrill a person. Immediate Response the moment she saw her CARICATURE. A picture is worth a thousand words.
