I felt comfortable drawing Caricatures at the FARE Walk last weekend. Experienced, I knew to bring along a winter jacket and hat. And the guests were comfortable because they were there for an exercise event ~ a big Walk. But some of the people I was working with ~ they were not so comfortable. It had started getting colder as the day moved on, and they weren't prepared. I had an extra jacket in my car that I could have shared, but it was too far away. Oh.
I'm wondering if this is going to be one of the last OUTDOOR events for the season.
BTW ~ The F.A.R.E. Walk is about Food Allergy Research & Education. Apparently, some people are even at risk for life-threatening anaphylaxis. This can be quite a serious situation.
But the Walk was a Healthy way of dealing with the situation. I had much fun with the people who were there for the Walk. Here are some of the Fun Caricatures that I drew:
