Client said they ordered FACE PAINTING, and that's what they want. Unusual event because of the Pandemic-Masks, but it felt great to be there. Like we will be able to breathe again.

Because I wouldn't take the job unless the participants would be wearing Pandemic-Masks during the process, the Client left a lot of masks for the Guests in the Face Painting area. And I was wearing Mask and Gloves myself.

But the masks were too big for the children. Between the large masks and the hats that many of them were wearing, that left me with very little area to paint. Added to that, the guests would tell me things like "I want a cookie here (next to her eye) and a cupcake here (next to her other eye). Just Things. Or a guest would come back after requesting a 'Cooking Utensil' on each arm ~ the Then request a Queen Esther on her arm too ~ just a lot of Things.

So this time I didn't get chances to paint my usual Face Transformations (even if just on forehead/eyes). I painted a lot of Things. It felt easy.

And it kept the children happy. Some kept coming back for more and more.

Doodling while talking on the phone with my friend tonight. Tribals. I just picked up a Marker, and it felt so good to glide it over this paper ~ which was actually the back of a photocopy of a Studio Caricature that I made many years ago.

The paper was Both Heavy And Smooth! I hope I remember to bring it along the next time I go to Staples. They printed it behind the counter, but I'm hoping they sell packages of this Paper too.

When and how did she get into this business?

Alison G started working with us as soon as we went nation-wide. That was over 10 years ago, and it's been quite a successful alliance. Alison loves people. She loves to use her skills and sense of fun to help them intensify their important experiences.

What was the most memorable event she ever worked at?
Alison has a hard time answering this. She likes to really get into whatever event she is currently at, so for her, her recent event is the most memorable......
When we asked her this question, Alison G recalled an event from last weekend. She had been given the honor of drawing a caricature of a 94-year-old woman. Getting past the wrinkles and seeing the emotion instead. While thinking about this touching event, Alison G has been remembering many of the cute kittens, graceful tigers, beautiful princesses, and brave Superheroes that she's face painted in the past.

What is the one thing she'd like everyone to know about her?

She's had a lot of experience, and cares about you. She can only hope you will give her the opportunity to do as much as she can for you.
