My client sent me more reference photos from her Wedding. So I could also design a Gift FASHION SKETCH for them After the Wedding ~ to capture the feel of the evening.

So many choices to make. So many moments. So many interpretations.

I drew the first happy Wedding Picture directly on the paper, and mailed it to my client through the Post Office. That should have been finished with the project. But......

Looking at it until I got around to packaging it up, I wondered..... why am I always accentuating the bottom-flair of her Wedding dress? If you didn't know that it was starting at her knees, quick glance might interpret it as a skirt that started at the waist. That's not right....... I wonder what the Exaggerated FASHION SKETCH would look like if I exaggerated how that bottom part of her dress restricts movement ~ by gathering it right down at her feet.... I know what it's like to wear a straight skirt.....

I made these Digital Caricatures back in the olden days ~ when we were trying to develop facility with using those balloon-tipped styluses. What a hoot.

I have to clear out room in an email account, but it's so hard to find any saved emails to delete. Good times. Good times.

Caricature drawn in Procreate. I just felt like this early '60's type scene was better handled with Procreate than my beloved Fresco. Even which app or which medium that an Artist chooses is part of the creation.

Much fun. I drew this based on a photo of Slash (from the band Guns and Roses) I found online. Even though I've been so enamoured with the Digital Caricatures lately, I worked directly on paper this time. Getting back to basics.

I call this my Portrait-Style Caricature. Still Exaggerated, but it's based on face with features, instead of just Shapes and Feeling. Which is what I would have done if I was doing what I call an Exaggerated Caricature. All good, but I have to know which Style I'm doing ~ it's much more comfortable if I know whether I'm going for 'My' Portrait Style Caricature Or My Exaggerated Caricature Or a Regular Straight Portrait.

Like a person who knows how to cook can put Carrots into a Cake. But she has to know whether she's aiming to make Cake Or Salad when she's working.
