Sometimes it's just easier for me to draw basic Caricatures. Not especially exciting, but people are thrilled with them anyway. It's what they expect.
Doesn't create an exciting stir, well, actually it does, but i don't understand why. I don't understand that excitement about them since it's easy for me. I guess people are just impressed to see that some people can really see and draw. They love to see pictures of themselves that are done Right.
I drew this Simple Caricature based on a photo of a man I recently drew Very Exaggerated at a Party.
I feel like the exaggerated CARICATURE I drew at the Party is Real Art. My vision can only be mine, and it involves really interacting with what I see.
I feel like this new drawing that I made on Purple Paper today is a Craft. It's something satisfying that I know how to do.

didn't even check my Calendar about what my next Event will be. Because I think it's going to be for Facepainting, and I just can't face taking out those Supplies to make the switch tonight. I love Facepainting, but it involves, of course, a whole lot of Set Up.

Digital Caricature Event. Fantastic! Fun people, comfortable venue. And I really felt comfortable with my Digital Equipment. I felt able to make some Wild Exaggerations and I felt like I could use all sorts of Digital tools ~ my Artwork is Current. Up to date. Modern.
And I love what's available to me with this equipment. I used Procreate.

Another day, another imperfect picture which I love. I wish I did this, Uhoh I did that..... I drew this Caricature based on a photo of a Girl that I drew differently at an Event.
I feel like this type of Artwork looks correct in a Fine Home. It doesn't look like a 6th-grader filled in eyes/nose/mouth. It is a more evolved Art Statement.
