Whether you warm up and what you have been doing makes all the difference in what you can draw. I'm usually just running between Caricature and Facepainting Events., but I've been doing a lot of me things instead this week. So I felt like a different person when I drew this Caricature.

Good thing I did that ~ because I wanted to warm up for drawing at an Upcoming New Years Eve #Party. The simplest idea tonight ~ to step the Girl's lips ~ kept coming out wrong. It was the first thing I drew, and it took four tries before I realized that I couldn't draw it first thing ~ the way I usually like to make Fun Drawings. I had to rely on a simpler approach ~ drawing the outside of the face first AND drawing a predraw for the lips. This time.

Versatile ~ I have many different ways for approaching my Pictures. Apparently there's no one right way. There's only the way that works best for me in the moment.

I like the way I separated the sleeve from the body

I decided to redraw a Caricature that I drew a digitally a couple of years ago.

But tonight's drawing was drawn with Markers. The old one was Fine. But I feel like I can see my artistic growth. Regardless of the medium. This new one looks much more lively. And it felt better to draw it.

Wow! I had a chance to see Cirque Dreams this night. They had hired me to draw at their VIP Event, which went very well. Everyone was pleased. So pleasant and easy to draw. Except for the lighting. The Little Lights that I bring along are barely enough Oh. I'll post one of my Caricatures here.

Anyway, I had so much Fun! I was encouraged to Dress Up Cirque Theme, like maybe an Elf Hat, but I did the whole kit-and-caboodle instead. Really got into it like Yeah ~ Then, when I was closing up, one of the Guests gave me a ticket to stay for the Show!

Talk about Dreams. I had driven from Long Island to Connecticut for this Event after only 5-hours Sleep.
