I wish I wasn't so scattered these days. One of the best things I did was to draw Caricatures at a Corporate Party. It was great being there.
Even though the venue was dark, the music was too loud to talk, and the Happy Guests did Not come near to any sort of focus on the activity, aka keep their faces showing while I was drawing them ~ Even though I have been focusing on Personal Events including yesterday's Dentist appointment and and ~ Even though circumstances were not optimal for Drawing ~ Even though all that, I felt so relieved to be at this Event. Drawing at Parties is where I feel 'Home'. Aaaah.
I felt totally Appreciated. Guests and Client were so Happy with my Pictures and my Performance. For the first time all Week, I felt respected as an Artist ~ nobody telling me to draw differently than I draw. That's what Artwork is about. Letting it happen. In the midst of it all

I actually have an in-person party tomorrow (or is that today now?). Caricatures for just 8 guests plus me and the hostess = 10 socially distanced people for 2 hours. Dreaming about how to entertain them. I'm planning on a full show with audience participation

probably posted these already, but I don't know for sure ~ didn't want to lose them ~ I found them when I was clearing out some of my old emails. I remember drawing them ~ at a staff appreciation event.
It just feels so good to look at them. The Artwork in each picture evokes a different feeling. Happy/beauty/blue. Proper/clean/intense. Approachable/hopeful. So often I feel like my Caricatures ~ even the quick ones that I do at Events ~ So often I feel like they have an Artistic Quality beyond the 'make it look like the person'

I still have about 10,000 photos on my Desktop that haven't been posted here yet. That's 10,000 people that I saw and drew at Parties and Events. Posting them here is on my To-Do list, if you know what I mean.
I did get up to clearing out my Google Drive recently. Had to focus on that because I was running out of space in my Google Drive.
I found a lot of Caricatures in my Google Drive that I had drawn at Events. Guessing that they're probably also on my Desktop (I have no idea how they got into Google Drive), I deleted them all. Oh.
But what if they're not there? What if they're not on my Desktop (or already posted here at my Website)? I grabbed just one of them. Did I post this picture here previously?
