Just taking it easy for a bit. Watching inspiring speakers online.
That means I'm drawing pictures. Caricatures. No fuss.
They were all inspiring, but one of them really stood out. Still able to Art when I prepared my drawings to post them here, I decided to Triplicate her ~ one of the most inspiring women ever. She reminded me of my Mother. Rational and Pragmatic. She said "I don't see what the fuss it about. It's not such a big deal."

Even in my time off, I try to stay upbeat. I'm doing okay, and I'm not desparing over that which was taken from me. But it does feel (sad, disappointed, amazed, shocked) that I don't feel comfortable to go to NYC anymore. and also the plebian Central Park. But this is not now. This past year's riots..... What can I even say? Even if I'm ever willing to go to the City again, it's Different. Would it feel like a ghost town? Would I feel like I don't belong there? Anymore.

When I was weeding near the squash plants, I wanted to bring the weeds to the back of the garden. But I tripped over the ivy. Hey! I pulled out that piece of ivy. But it was so long.
Hmmmmm...... I started weaving a tray from the ivy. Feels like I did the hardest part of getting it started today.

My friend recently walked me through some Origami. I helped make several different boxes created as 'belt' designs that I am showing here along with today's box that I made by myself (from the instructions in a book).
Working alone, albeit a previous design on which I just assisted, I nearly gave up. Trouble figuring out how to make the 'points' that go into the 'belt',. But when I tried to photograph my angst, I was able to see a 'diamond-shaped square' that would be the top of the box.
Success Wow I feel amazed that I did it
