There is No bad way to look. People should appreciate who they are. If they have attributes that they Think are unattractie, they believe that negativity inside themselves even if we don't draw it. They believe that negativity inside themselves even if we pretend we're not seeing what they know they see in the mirror.

It is more helpful to tell them that their reality IS beautiful. It is more helpful to shed the stupidity that we've been 'fed'. It is more helpful to be thrilled with the wonderful people that we see.

As a Caricature Artist, I especially like when I am given free reign to encourage people to be Confident with how they really look. Please don't ask me to agree with your negativity

This beautiful woman had no problem with the Funny Caricature that I drew of her at a recent event.

It was a wild Caricature. I liked it too. We all had a good time.

But then I tried to tone it down a little when I was alone back in the studio. When I felt more able to concentrate because I didn't have the distractions of interacting with the People and 'draw my baby (doll)'sort of stuff. Still using my New Fun Style. And I liked the new Caricature even better.

You never know what is best to exaggerate until after you've done it. In this case, Teeth? Or Nose? There's so many different choices, and no time to second-guess anything during an Event. When the Artist is On.

Just nice to have around. On the table. In the car.

Especially nice if it's matted and framed on the wall.

I'm happy to draw Calligraphy Words or Calligraphy Names for All the Guests at your Event. Patience. Health. Love. Peace. Joy. Faith. Courage. Bravery. Life. Creativity. Cooperation. Confidence. Energy........

I am tired of Low-Self-Esteem People telling me not to draw whatever attribute it is that They Do Have. I do Not want to proliferate the assumption that What Those People Look Like is Not good.

If I agree to draw them Incorrectly, it feels like I am agreeing that they really look awful. It feels like I am continuing to tell them (and the rest of the world) that it is not good to look the way that That Particular Person knows she looks.

No matter what I draw, the Low-Self-Esteem Person knows that he has the so-called Bad-Attribute that he told me not to draw. All sorts of supposedly bad attributes. Which I am Not going to list here. Because I do Not want this to continue. I want to be part of the solution, and not part of the problem. You look Fine!

Confident People know that whatever they look like is Fine. It is what a human being is supposed to look like. Looks are not that important, but it could be Fun, for a few minutes, to play around with that image. Squash and Stretch is the name of the game for Caricature Artists. Making big things bigger, small things smaller, round things rounder..... Just a game. Don't take it so seriously.

I hope that my Caricatures show people looking Wonderful. With All the Attributes that they do have. I hope that they are Happy with themselves. I want to convince each one of them that they Are beautiful. That they do not have to Change, Hide, Camoflage...... some people even get Operations! It's so sad if they live their whole lives thinking they are not good enough just the way they are.

We all look different than anyone else. We can recognize people because Each One of us is Unique.
